The annual Y 5K run and walk will take place on Saturday, November 18 beginning at the Y. Registration begins at 9 am, 5K run/walk begins at 10 am. Event will begin at the Y and wind through the beautiful Shireman Estates subdivision before finishing in front of the main entrance of the Y. The winner will earn a Thanksgiving turkey. Other activities will include the group pre-race warm up at 9:30 am, the Giblet Run for kids on the new Y walking path and the Best-Dressed Turkey Contest among those who dress most creatively in the Thanksgiving theme.
