How do I pay for my Y membership?
You may choose to pay your monthly membership fees through our convenient monthly bank draft. You will have the option of the fees being drafted on the 1st or the 15th of every month. You may also choose to pay for your membership in 6 month or one year increments using cash, check or credit card.
We know you will find great value in your Y membership, however should you decide to cancel or make changes for any reason, please provide written notice at least 10 days before your draft date.
Does the Y offer financial assistance for membership and programs?
Yes, The Y is committed to ensuring that everyone has access to the Y and it’s programs. For more information on financial assistance, please click here.
What can my kids do at the Y?
In addition to all the program offerings available for kids, depending on their ages they can utilize the facility in other ways as well. We have Child Watch for the younger kids while you work out. Families can utilize open gym and open swim times. Once they turn 12, they can take the fitness orientation class and use the fitness center. Anyone under 14 needs to have an adult with them in the building.
How can I get started if I’m a beginner?
We suggest that you start with a new fitness orientation. The orientation is designed to give you an overview of the equipment and how to properly use each of them. The membership desk can register you for a time slot.
If it’s raining will we still have practice for the outdoor sports?
We do often times play if it’s only raining. However, if games are canceled because of inclement weather we will post cancellations and delays to our Facebook page and on our local radio station WCBK. Your coach will also notify you in case of cancellations of practices.
Is my membership good at other Y’s?
Many Ys across the country participate in the NATIONWIDE MEMBERSHIP. It is best to check with the Y that you will be visiting on their guest policy. You must use your home Y 51% of the time.
